A Postcard to Henry Purcell

If you are a Jane Austen fan, and have seen the 2005 movie production of "Pride and Prejudice," perhaps you would like to answer the question below. Hint: The composer for the movie score, Mario Marianelli, credited the music for the dance scene between Lizzy and Darcy to Henry Purcell.

What one word would you write down on this postcard to Henry Purcell? (i.e. what is the one-word name of this Purcell composition?)

The first person with the correct answer shall receive an MP3 file of Purcell's setting on the first line of Shakespeare's 'Twelfth Night': If Music Be the Food of Love.

This contest may conclude without notification.

I stand corrected. Marianelli's first name was "Dario." Ha ha, indeed.

As for the answer to the contest question...the envelope please...

Either "Rondeau" (Rondo)" or "Abdelazer" is an acceptable answer.

Well done, Snoopy. You have won Purcell's "If Music Be the Food of Love" MP3!. It's being sent to you.
