Actually, I've Googled to this page to FIND OUT!
I think the original Bizet pierce also inspired the Sugar Crisp commercial theme.

Here is the answer to the triva question. The music was based on Bizet's incidental music to "L'Arlésienne" Suite No. 1, Prelude.
