Painting the Vine House Interior
Painting the Vine House Interior on 23 October, 2005
While another group from our church is putting together a new storage shed in the back yard today, our group contiuned with the the second phase of cleaning and painting tasks. We sanded and prepped the designated interior woodwork with primers. On the next weekend visit, the group will do the painting.

wah.. how long will the painting take? few days?
That's about right, Snoopy. It will take a few days to do the inside painting. We could do it in one afternoon.
There are between 15-20 people in our group. There is strenght in numbers and community. Each of us worked four hours for the two afternoons we spent at the Vine House. Here is the collective math:
4-hours/person x 20 = 80 hours or the equivalent of one-work week in one afternoon.
Thus far, our group has put in 160 hours or so at the center. We will do another 80 hours next Sunday afternoon. We should have the inside of the house painted at our next visit.
