Tom Lea's 'Rio Grande Painting'
This photo was taken on Sunday, 13 May 2012, 1838 hours, at the El Paso Museum of Art, El Paso, Texas. Laura Bush borrowed this painting from the said museum during W's presidency.
The artist was Tom Lea (1907-2001), who also did many WW II sketches. The name of the painting is 'Rio Grande (1954)'. The plants in the painting were the Yucca and the prickly pears.
